I bought 2 Dartmoor mares in 1979, I was then lucky enough to be able to buy- Shilstone Rocks D Day- in 1980, that was the start of Cayberry Stud- I try to breed true to type Dartmoors with the correct temprement for children as I am breeding children's ponies- having 4 children of my own, I know how important they are, Cayberry Dartmoors are proving to be good childrens ponies, there are also a breed champion or two amongst them and now I hope; they are making a name for themselves in the show ring too- what breeder could ask more? I am having to reduce numbers as my right hand 'man' -Gayle - is off to college now-that leaves me with all the work, so should anyone want a good Dartmoor. Please feel free to call me to discuss, this has been a very hard decision; but I can't do them all justice ! |

Shelly Playboy All black, 11.2hh- leg at each corner type!! This very correct stallion, is siring star show winning stock; 1 more for his DPS premium,whilst on the Newtake he sired champion & reserve - see page 52 in the 2006 Dartmoor Diary. His daughter Metheral Lark has gone to her new home in scotland- from where she will be shown. He is the sire of Denecroft Algebia Star who is doing very well under saddle- thanks to his connections. We have stock by him for sale- inc: full brother and sister-3yo gelding- ideal l/r - also super filly foal.

Always does us proud in the show ring, he is at limited stud. He has been Dartmoor Breed Champion at Border Union- twice, Great Yorkshire, NPS Area 4, Eastern Dartmoor, DPS Breed show, & Reserve Breed Ch @ The Royal, nps area 5, nps area 4, when we have shown him in hand- in 3 yrs! 2nd DPS Stallion of the Year 2006/04. 3rd DPS stallion of the year 2005. 2007-6th DPS Stallion of the year from 2 outings! He will now concentrate on his ridden career; Best novice ridden stallion @ Southern Breed show,2007- his first major show! BSPS Area 3a-Ridden m&m champion & Res m&m Champion novice whp. Under 2 well respected judges; we felt honoured to be placed 6th in his first attempt at a hoys quaifier at West Midlands - April 2008. 1st and res breed champion at the Great Yorkshire 2008 He went to Border Union 2008- star show- he was 1st and res breed champion in hand, he was also 6th in his hoys ridden qualifier- he went round the whp class too, what a versatile fellow. His stock are winning at star show level too- thanks John and Audrey- with Denecroft Tiarastar. Cayberry Passion, (Oak Tree Starstorm X Perdita) & Cayberry Northcountry Cherry ( Shilstone Rocks North Country Man X Hisley Black Cherry) both owned by Anne Green, they are always produced to perfection; thanks Anne. Cayberry Miss Sassy ( Oak Tree Starstorm X Cayberry Mrs Doubtfire) went to live with Harriet Palk in Devon, she has done very well in the show ring; THANKS Harriet, that is always good to hear! Cayberry Sweet Breeze (Sh R Bitter Sweet X O T Starstorm) to Lee Caruthers. Cayberry Mickey Mouse -(Shilstone Rocks D Day X Pantmanr Mayfly) sold to a lovely home, all the best Ruby, great to hear at 3 years old, you are already leading him about: it's that CAYBERRY temperament again. Cayberry Atlantic Chill- Shilstone Rocks Atlantic Gale X Cayberry Chilli Pepper. This fellow is proving to be- one of the safest childrens ponies we know.Gill & Grace have had super fun with this fellow; and winning 16 trophies is no mean feat, he has now been sold to a family in Scotland.
